I haven't done this before, but it's been on my mind probably since I've started this journal, so I hope I'll be bothered to update it. This will be a list of everything - yes, everything - that I read over 2010. If you're lucky, you might get a few initial reactions to the books/articles/poems recorded in this list, but that... might not happen.
Here goes!
~ A Wild Sheep Chase, Haruki Murakami
This is a borderline case, because I read it over the last few days of 2009, entering into 2010. Most of my journey to and from Ruairi's was spent reading this, so as well as enjoying the book, it's attached to some good memories.
~ The Easter Parade, Richard Yates
~ Eleven Kinds of Loneliness, Richard Yates
I haven't read many short stories since Dubliners, but I have fallen in love with Richard Yates recently and these have been recommended to me a lot. Thankfully, I have enjoyed them immensely - so much so that I even lent them to my dad, who also loves them.
~ Ghost World, Daniel Clowes
My favourite graphic novel, re-read.
